In my Bugzilla there seems to be no 'Bug Moving' parameters in Administration/Parameters?

I would be very grateful if someone would tell me how to reveal these settings.

I am an admin in a BZ 4.2.4 installation running under Ubuntu. Mail is set to SMTP, but changing this does not seem to reveal the fields.

Many thanks in anticipation

It's now an extension which you have to enable. Delete
extensions/OldBugMove/disabled and run checksetup.pl again. Then the
parameters will be displayed again.

Does this code even still work? It was used to move bugs in the Netscape
days; has anyone used it since?

It still works, yes. Else the new code wouldn't have pass review. ;)

Thanks very much, that's very helpful. Sorry for delayed reply - did not get email notification

The path you mention is under the Bugzilla directory?

Having looked into this further, is there any way I can fully enable the target end without linux level access. (Move parameters are enabled enabled at the target end, but move is turned off, and I doubt any required special-purpose email aliases have been set up. BZ email is set to SMTP). I have BZ admin rights on both servers of course.

Best wishes

Partial success

Some of the parameter are there, but not all.

The ones present are:

move-to-url
The URL of the database we allow some of our bugs to be moved to.

move-to-address
To move bugs, an email is sent to the target database. This is the email address that that database uses to listen for incoming bugs.

movers
A list of people with permission to move bugs

I ran checksetup.pl, which completed and showed no modules missing, though I note that I have:
MIME-tools (v5.406) ok: found v5.502 NOT
NOT: MIME::Parser 5.406

As suggested here: http://www.bugzilla.org/releases/4.0/release-notes.html

Also I forgot to run checksetup before trying to edit the parameters (sorry just a mistake), so maybe something needs flushing now?

I have now run checksetup and rebooted.

All thoughts much appreciated.

I have now found the solution to this myself
1) These 3 are now the only parameters
2) the bug movers email field is case sensitive
3) the move button is in a strange location

I still do not know if transfer can be achieved without set up requiring linux level access on the destination machine. If anyone knows I'd appreciate it.
