I want to update the fields in a bug.. How can i do this..

I think you should be more specific in what your problem really is
because else I would just say something like "change them and
save/update the bug". ;-)

Raghu---- I hope following answer will help you resolve your issue:
If you want to add new fields to bug than login as admin, click on
Custom fields link at footer, Add the custom field(All the fields on
this page are self explanatory). Once added, you will be able to see
the custom field on the bug pages(either new or existing bug). Also
you can update the field values from field values link at footer.
