Webdev update - Week 5

Hey all!

This is the first of the weekly updates moving forward on our webdev
efforts :)

Over the past six weeks we have rebooted our reps.mozilla.org webdev
project.

Tasos and Nemo (cc'ed) have been working on implementing many cool features.

For two weeks now we focused on new functionality that can be viewed here:

We are focusing on two things to be delivered in Dev in one week and in
production in two weeks:

- Ability of Vouched Mozillians to login. A vouched mozillian (non-rep)
will be able to login in our website and be given a dashboard. In this
Dashboard he can track specific Interest Areas activities. Reps, Events,
Reports and requests. Imagine it as a dashboard we now give for mentors but
tailored on interest areas that mozillians want to track.

- Timeline Visualization of events. Using Timeline.js (
http://timeline.verite.co/) we will be able to vizualize events (and select
specific periods) in our /events/ page. You can select between timeline or
events view.

Through the srumbu.gs link above you can track the progress of those
features.

For next weeks:

- Tasos will be focusing on building up the voting system (Alex and Kensie
we will be focusing with meetings on that) to have it ready by 1st of March.

- Nemo will be focusing on adding categories and tags for events and
beautifying more the event pages.
