Hi Giorgos and Pierros,
thank you for your answer. I agree that it is a difficult decision
whether or not to include products in the list. Thunderbird is listed,
Firefox is not, ...
The list is called "Functional Areas". This being the case, maybe we
should put functional views on the Mozilla Foundation initiatives.
Borrowing from previous MozFest mottoes "Learning, Freedom and the Web"
[1] and "Media, Freedom and the Web" [2], I suggest to use categories
such as "Learning", "Media", "Video" [3]. Additionally I would add
"Webmaker" [4] and "Web Literacy" [5].
Here is a revised proposal for the interest fields:
- Hive Network --> Learning
- Open Badges --> Learning
- Hackasaurus --> Learning or Web Literacy
- Webmaker --> Webmaker
- Thimble --> Learning or Web Literacy
- Popcorn --> Video
- OpenNews --> Media
- Ignite --> Labs (already exists)
- Hive (changed from "Hive Network" to "Hive") --> see above
- Festival --> Webmaker
- Collusion --> Learning or Web Literacy
Any other opinions or comments?
Pierros, what do you think?
Best regards,
Henrik
