Definitely something we'd like to do to make it seamless with other
ways users get support for Mozilla products.
The challenge is that in order to answer questions like "did my
payment go through?" or "do you have the right address on file for
me?" the person providing the help needs to have access to private
user data. We think that will likely mean an outsourced solution with
a supplier who provides a secure, dedicated option in every language
that the program is in.

We'd like French to be part of the launch. Need to confirm that we
have the right dictionary available -- our vendor has "Québécois
French" available (which, by the way, is what I studied in school),
but we need to confirm that it is not significantly different than
mainstream French. You could probably help with that - ping me if you
can.
> * New video added to Thank You email
> Why the "thank you" e-mail and not in the Join Mozilla main page?
The main page is designed to be lean and focused on leading users
through the sign-up process. So we opted not to put a video there.

Typo - should read May 8, 2011.

BSD has been awesome to work with, and they meet all of our needs with
regard to payment processing, security/privacy, and managing our
members. That said, in the medium term, we're looking for a storefront
that will let us do localization the same way all our other Mozilla
products are built. BSD just isn't built for that (and they were never
intended to be used as our storefront -- we just didn't find a
solution to that problem before we wanted to be live in beta).

You can find information on the first video here:
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Brand/Firefox The second video was made by Brett Gaynor of Drumbeat's Web Made
Movies project. He had shot a bunch of great interviews with
Mozillians, and when we saw what he had, we asked if we could adapt it
to use as a kind of "intro" to Mozilla. We're working on an alternate
cut for the Get Involved page which will be targeted at contributors.

That would be great. Thanks.
