I don't think there's an objective list of what is and isn't acceptable
to do in the name of Mozilla.  That would be difficult, if not
impossible, to write and enforce.  As Gerv wrote, there's going to be a
set of guiding principles published in the near term, but even those, I
suspect, will not be fully deterministic about what Mozilla's position
will be in relation to future issues.

That shouldn't preclude anyone from trying to rally support within the
community, that's possible right now.  If you feel Mozilla as a whole
should take a formal and active position, keeping in mind that influence
is a finite resource, I think .governance is a good place to ask the
question.  You can even just engage Gerv directly to see who would be
the best champion for making a stronger play on an organizational level.
