Copying address books among separate TB installations

Hello,
I wish to have a common set of address books among different users so
that (at least initially) they all have the same set of addresses. Is
there a way to copy, en masse, the address books in one installation of
Thunderbird to another installation.
Just copying the impab*.mab files is not sufficient.
