Hello,
TB v2.0.0.23
Is there a way to copy a message folder's profile to other folders?
For instance, I prefer a folder's sort order to be by Date, descending,
threaded, and Properties of check for new mail. Currently I must go into
every folder and set these options. This is a PITA when there are 50 folders.

He has multi posted it there as well.

Generally, multi posting is not a good idea.

Except when I get no (useful) response in the first NG I try.

Then post to both separately and check both. The basic reason is that if
you don't set a followup in one of the groups, you may miss an answer OR
someone cancels the crosspost thereby posting in only the one group and
the conversation gets busted up and so on - not a good idea in support
groups especially.

The people who know Thunderbird and post here in m.general also post in
m.s.thunderbird, so there's nothing to be gained by posting here. I
can't help -- I don't know a way of easily copying folder settings in
TB -- but I wish you luck.

Hi James,

Mnenhy can do that by allowing all folders to inherit the data of the
parent. I've used it to set all my folders the same.
