Mozilla would like to announce the availability of several new
mailing lists (and newsgroups) that will be used for announcements
and feedback collection. The main purpose of these new lists to try
and coordinate a widespread testing effort that can help identify any
last minute website compatibility or other product problems that
should be fixed prior to an official release.

Thanks and happy testing.

If you have interest in being notified about early availability of
Firefox and Thunderbird releases such as release candidates (RC's)
and Alphas, you can join the prerelease announcement list.

You can receive Firefox & Thunderbird prerelease availability in one
of three ways:

a) If you are interested in joining the mailing list, you can visit
https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo, click on announce-prerelease and
subscribe yourself to the list.

b) If you wish to read/subscribe by newsreading on the web, you can
use Google Groups at
http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.announce.prerelease.

c) If you wish to use a dedicated news reader, you can point your
news reader to news.mozilla.org, look for new newsgroups and
subscribe to mozilla.announce.prerelease.

We have also created several new forums for submitting and discussing
feedback around release candidates and alphas. You can read the
feedback and participate in one of three ways:

a) If you are interested in joining the mailing list, you can visit
https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo, click on feedback-firefox-
prerelease (and/or feedback-thunderbird-prerelease) and subscribe
yourself to the list.

b) If you wish to read/subscribe by newsreading on the web, you can
use Google Groups at
http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.feedback.firefox.prerelease
(and/or
http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.feedback.thunderbird.prerelease).

c) If you wish to use a dedicated news reader, you can point your
news reader to news.mozilla.org, look for new newsgroups and
subscribe to mozilla.feedback.firefox.prerelease (and/or
mozilla.feedback.thunderbird.prerelease).
