Summary: Firefox 3 beta 3 doesn't work with babylon

Comments:
When you try to select a word for translation with babylon, babylon
comes up with something funny. It worked fine in Firefox 2.0.0.12 though.

Browser Details: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; nl; rv:1.9b3) Gecko/2008020514 Firefox/3.0b3

I agree. Firefox 3 beta 3 & beta 5 don't work with Babylon. For some
reason, the words seem to be shifted; i.e. Babylon looks up a word
about 4 centimeters to the right.

A workaround to the problem of babylon incompatibility with firefox 3
is to first double click the word to select it. Now CTRL-right-click
on the selected word, but make sure you do this on the **LEFT
PORTION** of the selected word. Then babylon will recognize it. If you
CTRL-right-click on the right hand portion of the selected word,
chances are it won’t work.

This is an added inconvenience for sure, but at least you can avoid
having to manually enter the word into babylon.
