Product: Firefox Release Candidate
Summary: Firefox 3.1b3 Save/upload file dialogue box

Comments:
Whenever firefox calls for the open file/save file dialogue box from the
OS, something goes wrong and it doesn't work. Neither saves nor opens
will work, and it takes some repetitive clicking on cancel to get rid of it.

Dragging an image to the desktop DOES work to save a file.

Mac OS X 5.5.6 Intel
MacBook Core2 Duo, 4gb RAM

Seems to be a problem with using Graphite instead of Blue for the
Appearance setting in OS X. Dialogs work fine when I'm using Blue but
not when I'm using Graphite. Can somebody else confirm?

Wait scratch that.. Problem cropped up again with Blue. However, I
have noticed that when using Graphite, that the up/down arrow beside
the Save As field (in the Save As dialog) remains Aqua for some
reason..

Have any of you had success with a file upload dialog box yet? It
followed the bug report and it appears that this particular issue is
supposed to be fixed, so maybe the problem I'm seeing with it is a new
one. I'm not having any problems getting the file upload control to
open and accept a file, but trying to actually use the control in the
code behind files doesn't work. I can't access the path or file name
at all, but it does work when I try it on OS X with Firefox 3.0.6
(Windows Firefox 3.0.8 works fine too). It's working in Safari 3.2.1
on OS X too. All I'm doing with mine is pulling the name of the file
from a FileUpload control. Any ideas, or should this get entered as a
new bug?

Just tested the file upload feature in Firefox 3.1b3 and it still
isn't working on a machine running OS X 10.4.11. Anyone else having
success with it? Or did you all end up reverting back to 3.0.6?
