Most interesting:
* XHTML2 working group: Straw poll inside of Mozilla is that XHTML2
should probably just be dropped from the W3C but it's more complicated
than that and some non-Mozilla W3C members still want to discuss it.
We're adding our voice to this discussion and hopefully our opinion on
this as well.
* SQL/Storage discussion will be ongoing from Vlad's post. Happy that
he did it. Will keep an eye on it.
* Firefox 3.5: sheppy, blizzard and asa all have tasks associated with
messaging around 3.5. Blizzard's pulling in perf info, sheppy will
help with web developer bits and asa's going to generate numbers for
all bugs fixed this time around (in a way we can query later when we
get closer to release.)
* Gecko reflow video from gen:
http://blog.mozilla.com/gen/2009/04/09/how-to-make-your-own-gecko-reflow-video/
Patches are up for this. Would be good to see if we can get this into
the tree as another possible debugging tool ala what we're able to do
with MozAfterPaint.
* Docs: Sheppy has some work going on with re-organization and tags
for the lyons release. Also the lyons upgrade is still underway.
Getting mindtouch stuff sorted.
* Asa will be speaking at the mozilla gumi 10 year event.
* Tomcat is starting a bunch of meetups in germany for people who are
interested in Mozilla and open source. Hopes that it will spread from
there. It looks like good work, along what others in marketing have
talked about.
* Paul has three events coming up: one mobile event near the end of
Q2, an event in the Netherlands where he's going to talk about HTML5
stuff and trying to put together a workshop in Italy near the end of
June.
So lots of good stuff going on. Thanks!
