Hello Guys and Gals,

My name is Andre Alves Garzia and I am looking for a mentor for a Google of
Summer Project. Since I proposed something that was not on the ideas list,
they don't have a mentor assigned and asked me if I had someone in mind. I
decided to check here.

My proposal is at:

http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/proposal/review/google/gsoc2013/andregarzia/1001

Basically what I want to build is a set of sample apps for Firefox OS to be
added to the Developer Hub. I would build an app for each of the Web APIs
available for hosted and privileged apps. iOS and Android developers have
tons of sample code in their developer portals, I think it is a good idea
to have sample code that is documented and aimed in teaching new developers
how to use the Web APIs.

thanks for any feedback
andre

I suspect that URL is not visible to people unless they are already
signed up as Mozilla GSoC mentors. It would be a good idea to place a
copy of the proposal on a public web page somewhere.

Your project proposal looks great and could be quite useful for the Web API team. I'd be happy to mentor you.

Kind regards,
Marcos

It's probably best to send this to dev-b2g, dev-gaia, and dev-webapi to
get some feedback.

Looking forward to you joining the project,

Andrew
