Wrong document; you're working with the XUL document and you need to
work with the web page's document, which is content.document, see

Thanks for sharing. Even I was able to get going with the jquery with
some caveats.
If you have created dynamic elements with style overflow, it should
work though.

I have this simple html page with a single inputbox
When I call my FFaddon, I need to get the id of that inputbox.
I know thats its document.getElementById('id'). value to get the value

FYI -- You might look into using JSF for the view framework. I'm
pretty sure I've seen a JSF component library that renders XUL
elements (as opposed to HTML).
Or did you intend to use XULRunner as a no-frills web browser and
still use HTML for content?

I'm inserting dynamically elements into my xul document with JQuery,
and it's working quite well.
Quite well because if the content is bigger than the container height,
the renderer don't show a scrollbar.

Hi, i am trying to bring a treecell into edit mode by pressing a key
on the keyboard.
with mouse doubleclick it works, but not with a key.
is there a default key to bring a cell to edit mode?
if not i was trying this, but it does not work...

Problem solved.
I actually had the finger on it: the dll was the problem.
If other people have this kind of problem here is what worked for me:
Just set the Visual Studio project to statically link runtime libraries (/MT
option): under C/C++ project settings, by default "Multithreaded library
(/MD)" is selected. Set it to Mutithreaded (/MT) only. This statically links
