<grid> with overflow: auto - how to scroll?

Hello alltogether,

i'm using the example scrollingrows.xul from the firefox source and it
works.

With other hints (spreadsheet) i'm also able to set the focus to every
cell, scrolling works here automaticly.

But if i try to add a row, it is under the visible area and also focus()
does it not scroll into view.

So, how do i get some functionality like scrollIntoView() or
isElementVisible() with a grid ( or a box or ... )?
