Hi, Is anyone else having trouble with the latest version of Firefox? I'm getting an "Could not bind control to instance data" error, and forms that used to work just fine are now completely broken. Just wanted to check to see if anyone else is having problems.

You shouldn't upgrade to FF 2.0.0.13 if you are using the xforms extension. I meant to put that on the NG last night but forgot. We put in xpath changes into the core for a few bugs so there will be a mismatch. We'll release 0.8.5 probably in the next couple of days. You could use the xforms nightly in the meantime if you really want to run FF 2.0.0.13.

Trouble here too with evaluating nodeset expression in an instance bind that worked perfectly before. My trouble is, I was automatically updated in Ubuntu and can't figure out how to rollback to FF 2.0.0.12. If anyone can direct me I'd appreciate it.

Has anyone found a nightly build that works with 2.0.0.13? I've tried a few, but none of my submissions seem to work. Thanks, -Winona

Philip, Can I ask you how you are submitting your forms? I tried that version but none of my submission events seem to actually send data.

HI Aaron, If you guys are releasing 0.8.5 soon, then I just want to say congratulations and thanks for all your hard work. A few days wait or more for something that's open source and as good as Moz Xforms is not a problem. Keep up the good work!!

Try this form: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/xforms/samples/flickr-search.xhtml and see if that submission works. It works for me on FF 2.0.0.13 and the latest nightly. Also make sure that if you are doing cross domain submission that you have whitelisted the server that is sending the original document that you are trying to submit from.

Thanks to all for your help. I think the submission problems were tied to the fact that I didn't uninstall my existing extension before installing new one. After doing so everything seems to be working just fine.
Thanks again, -Winona

I'm having the same problem with an upgrade to 2.0.0.13. I tried the nightly build for Linux, and the page renders as if the extension isn't even present.
Anyone have luck getting the nightly build to work on Linux/Mac?
