[ANNOUNCE] NSPR 4.8 Release

The NSPR 4.8 release is now available. The CVS tag is
NSPR_4_8_RTM. You can download the source tarball from
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/nspr/releases/v4.8/src/

Platform requirements:

Windows 9x (95, 98, Me) and NT 3.51 and 4.0 are no
longer supported.

Windows Mobile and Mac OS X 64-bit (x86_64) are
now supported.

New macros:

prlock.h: PR_ASSERT_CURRENT_THREAD_OWNS_LOCK
prmon.h: PR_ASSERT_CURRENT_THREAD_IN_MONITOR

New features:

The special log module timestamp adds timestamps
to NSPR log messages:
