live stream to video element
|
| |
Hi all, I tried to stream an ogg video to the video element in Firefox 3.5 with VLC and Icecast 2. There really is a huge lag between recording and playing back the video in Firefox. Additionally Firefox is buffering every 20s for nearly 15s, which is not nice. Did somebody already try similar things, had similar experiences and maybe found a solution?... more »

Multiple file uploads with Firefox 3.6
|
| |
After reading this I'd about multiple file uploads with FF3.6 I'd like to experiment with it. [link] I have a small PHP image gallery that this would be perfect for. If I add "multiple" to my input tags I can send multiple files, but what ends up getting to PHP is just the last file. In the $_FILES[] array... more »

HTML5 audio stops buffering prematurely
|
| |
Hi, I'm trying to use the HTML5 audio object for the soundtrack of a Javascript-based animation, but I'm finding that on FF3.5 it stops buffering shortly after firing the 'canplay' event, after receiving 64K or so of audio data - at that point, the audio object's networkState attribute becomes 1 = NETWORK_IDLE. Here's my code (with Firebug... more »

|
| |
I'll attach two sample identical documents: an HTML and an XHTML one. Both have two form elements with a 'tabindex' attribute set and two which don't specify a 'tabindex'. I've observed the elements with 'tabindex' set get skipped from the tabbing navigation after the first iteration when viewing the XHTML document. The HTML... more »

NEED MONEY FAST? READ THIS ARTICLE SPEND 5 MINUTES OF YOUR TIME AND YOU’LL SEE THIS REALLY WORKS AND BESIDES… IT’S LEGAL!!! I was surfing by the groups (GOOGLE, YAHOO, ALTAVISTA, ETC.), when I saw an article saying something about earning money fast. “Well -said to myself-, I have to see what kind of schematic can they show in internet”. These article described the way of sending BY MAIL, 1 EURO OR AMERICAN DOLLAR TO JUST 6 PERSONS AND EARNING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN 4 WEEKS. Okay, the more I thought about this, the more excited I as getting. It seemed a scam, but I was curious, so I kept reading. After meditating it, I decided to give it a try. It is really worth just 6 euros, or 6 U.S. dollars and 6 postage stamps, I spent more buying lottery and I've never won. This is not a scam; is not indecent, is not illegal, and is 99% freerisk, it really works if you adhere to the instructions, you will receive extraordinary dividends.... more »

<span contenteditable="true"> behaving strangely
|
| |
Hi all, I asked this question on the XUL list, but it's probably more appropriate to ask the question here. I did some tests with the contenteditable attribute on a span element, and it isn't working entirely as I expected. For instance, take the following HTML code: <html> <body> <script> <!--... more »
