So are we downloading video/audio content in the mail messages?
Dont we stop it like images?

(PS: I use webmails, so no longer use Thunderbird)

If that's the case, you probably should file a bug on it.
I don't think video should work by default in Thunderbird.

I guess this is (at least partly) related to
