Hi QA-Team,

Please join the Mozilla QA Community for a testday on Friday 7.
December, 2007!

As Preparation for the Firefox 3 Beta 2 we will test major Areas of
Firefox 3.

On this testday we will test the new Bookmark System (Places), the
redesigned Download Manager and the revamped Location Bar.

The event will run Friday, December 7th, 2007, from 7am - 5pm PST

How to prepare for the test day:

* Please download on friday the Firefox Nightly Build
* You should either back up your profile or use the profile manager
to create a new profile for testing.

How you can help with this test day:*

First join us in #testday on irc.mozilla.org. The choose one or more of

the following things to do:

* This testday has the focus on Firefox Bookmarks , Location Bar and
Download Manager and we have special tests in Litmus for this Areas. Ask
for help in the testday channel if you're not familiar with Litmus. If a
testcase is terribly unclear, mark it as such. When you have questions
about using Litmus, please ask the moderators in the testday channel or
see the Litmus tutorial .
* You can find more information about changes and bugs to verify on
the testplans for Bookmarks, Location Bar and Download Manager . If you
see an issue, raise it in #testday so people there can confirm it. Then
search for the bug in Bugzilla . If it's not on file, log the bug and
again mention it in #testday so that it can be confirmed.
* When you have time and interest in writing testcases, please ping
Marcia and/or Tomcat in the testday channel. We have also a short
documentation how to write testcases for litmus.
* Please see also the List of fixed bugs for Firefox 3 and Core and
see if you can verify fixed this bugs.

Please visit http://quality.mozilla.org/events/test-days for all
otherinfo regarding the event.

Please use tes...@mozilla.org to send feedback about how the testday
