embedding apis and device apis

Folks -

I've added a new section to our wiki -

http://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile#Embedding_for_Mobile

and I started to flesh out some of the use cases that we're looking at
for use in mobile (and desktops, too!) In the spirit of release
early, release often what's there is super-duper unfinished and high
level.

But I'm interested in hearing what people might think about our use
cases and what other apis we should be looking at. Please add those
to the brainstorming page. These might include MS APIs for embedding
we should be looking at, the WK GTK+ API that's currently being done,
etc. There's a brainstorm page up for it:

There are also a lot of different vendors proposing different APIs for
accessing device information. Access to GPS, location information
(ala skyhook), address books, etc - lots of stuff going on in APIs.
I've added links to the google gears api, the locationaware site and
the one that Alp listed in his FOSDEM talk. If people know about
more, I would love to hear about them, or just add them to the wiki
page:
