We're waiting on a few last bugs to get in before we respin for beta.

We're still investigating what we need to do with these:
481351 - Javascript JIT crash - Vlad, Andreas, and Brendan are working
on it.
481567 - Difficult to read text on some sites when zoomed to fit
width. This should be pretty easy for us to fix

We've got a pretty good handle on these:
481517 - When you pan outside of the window things get confused. - Ben
Combee is working on it. We have a partial fix, but would like to get
a better fix in. Not a major issue on an N810, but is pretty bad on
the desktop.
481566 - Content sink responsiveness fixes - This has patches we've
used since Alpha 1, needs some extra review and to be checked in

Given these, we should be able to respin by Friday morning and do our
final QA smoketests.

These both have fixes landed.

Still working on this one

Half of this has landed, need to land the other half still.

In addition, we are investigating two new issues: several people are
having trouble with plugins and youtube, and we're having some
unresponsiveness when starting a pan.

OK, we've gotten all the patches in and have a second beta candidate
up at:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/b1rc2

Please test this over the weekend!

Stuart,

just tried to install it from microb and it seems like ftp.mozilla.org
has a bug on handling |content-type| of .deb files: instead of trying
to download it, it starts to try to render it (of course w/out
success...) . I am able install other debs fine from microb so maybe
it is something related to "
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=460337 " , which was
about problems on content-type of .install files in f.m.o ....

ps: from FF3.x desktop I am able to download it fine .... so maybe it
is a microb issue :( ... am on chinook btw and i will try it out on
diablo in a few.

I've uploaded it to
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/mozilla-maemo-gpg-public-key

Fennec 1.0b1 should hopefully appear in the Maemo Extras repository
shortly as well.

Thank you.
Will be nice to see it in maemo extras.
Too much repositories is bad style :)

I add apt gpg key.
New problem :)

apt-get update
....
Failed to fetch ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/dists/chinook/Release
Unable to find expected entry release/binary-armel/Packages in Meta-
index file (malformed Release file?)
Reading package lists... Done
W: Conflicting distribution: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org chinook Release
(expected chinook but got )
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old
ones used instead.

Hm, you wouldn't happen to be on a non-case sensitive filesystem would
you? Just a guess, since I was having issues with the Release file and
release directory conflicting when I was rsyncing to my mac... I ended
up going straight to the linux VM instead.

If that's not it I'll try to reproduce this and fix. And I won't deny
the fact that I'm hoping the Extras repository makes this moot =)

It's happened on ext2 fs on N810 and can be easy reproduced.
