Hi guys,
I would like to know where do we want to upload the multi-locale build.
Currently, uploading the multi-locale after the single-locale build
overwrites the single-locale since they share the same name.

I see two ways:
- Option A. There is a naming change.
- Option B. We upload somewhere else (the fennec multi-locale tar ball
would still have "en-US" in the filename)

Another question I have is if there is any good reason that we upload
to firefox/nightly rather than mobile/nightly (aside that there is
some work to be done to upload somewhere else).

Cheers,
Armen

NOTE: mobile/nightly is currently a symlink to firefox/nightly/latest-
mobile-trunk

For reference:
xulrunner-1.9.3a1pre.en-US.linux-gnueabi-arm.tests.tar.bz2
xulrunner-1.9.3a1pre.en-US.linux-gnueabi-arm.tar.bz2
fennec-1.0b5pre.en-US.linux-gnueabi-arm.tar.bz2

fennec_1.0b5pre_armel.deb

I have find out that I can modify the packaging as easy as passing a
parameter like this "AB_CD=multi" which solves the naming collision.

This will get us all of the current ones:

> xulrunner-1.9.3a1pre.en-US.linux-gnueabi-arm.tests.tar.bz2
> xulrunner-1.9.3a1pre.en-US.linux-gnueabi-arm.tar.bz2
> fennec-1.0b5pre.en-US.linux-gnueabi-arm.tar.bz2
>
> fennec_1.0b5pre_armel.deb
> xulrunner_1.9.3a1pre-20091023010618_armel.deb

plus:
fennec-1.0b5pre.multi.linux-gnueabi-arm.tar.bz2

Aside of fixing the tar ball collision. I have made the decision that
the fennec_1.0b5pre.armel.deb should be of the multi-locale build
rather than the single-locale one.

If no one has any objections that is how I am steering towards.

Cheers,
Armen

Makes sense. "multi" is fine

Hi Ivan, sorry to disappoint you but out of all people in this mailing
list I am the newest here; I just do release engineering work and
nothing wrt the product.

Fennec runs on ARM Linux. I wrote a blog post that might lead you to
the info you are looking for:
http://armenzg.blogspot.com/2009/10/installing-fennec-nightly-on-n810.html

By the way, would you mind starting another thread instead of using
this multi-locale build one?

Cheers,
Armen
