I am trying to follow
http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Using_the_Mozilla_source_server
to figure out a workaround for
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432257
but windbg never shows the source. I do get the warning about cvs when
I double click on some stack frames, but nothing good happens if I says
"yes". I checked that cvs in on my PATH.

Any hints?
John.

Do you have the specific CVS linked from the source server page? The
one that comes with mozilla-build (msys, I believe) doesn't work for
this purpose.

I've only used it once, and didn't have mozilla-build installed, and
it worked fine, but I just followed the page's instructions
robotically.

I used the cvs.exe from TortoiseCVS and I looked around: the file is
being checked out of cvs and I can see it if I look in the directory
tree. But windbg does not seem to know about it.

Is it in the right directory? When they were getting the source
server up, Lukas and Ted had a heck of a time getting the right files
in exactly the right directories, which is how they discovered that it
was very sensitive to the CVS program used.

If it's not a matter of using that exact CVS program, and you're
following the instructions there with high fidelity, I am all out of
ideas.

And based on my experience, neither does the cvs from TortoiseCVS. The
one linked on the source server page did work.

Glad you got it working! Maybe we should amplify the language on that page. :)
