RC2 Testing update

We have completed the minimum tests for RC2 (RC2^2). This included the
smoke and BFT tests, focused testing on the two bugs for RC2^2, and
update testing. The one thing that was not done is a run of the update
checker. This is a *requirement* for RC2 release. Preed plans to run
this tonight. He has been doing a great job keeping up with this
release while fighting the flu!

Overall we are "Go" for final staging with the caveat that the update
checker gets run.

There were a few problems found where FF was hanging on shutdown. And
some weird behaviors in the download manager. See:

We have delayed some of the spot checking of locales, bug fix
verification, and extension testing. This was done in order to get RC2
into user hands earlier for more community testing. The tests will be
completed over the next few days.

Special thanks to all the community testers that have been helping us on
a daily basis (woo hoo!) and with the bug days and community test days.

Checker run. All failures found were expected (mostly locales that were
removed from RC2 had update failures, because... they were removed).

Build is Go for launch (I feel like I'm in Apollo 13!)
