This is a heads up that mozilla-central will be bumped to 5.0a1 on Monday, 2011-04-11 morning PDT (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=648653).

Is this a bump for the Firefox version only, or both the Firefox and
Gecko versions?

To answer my own question (I clearly should have read the bug link
first), it's both, as described in the bug.

AMO's accepted version-range policy has to change with the rapid
versioning, especially for the max-version.
I propose AMO to allow the latest aurora version of any instance as
the acceptable max-version of an addon.
