  That means that Bugzilla stopped thinking it was a tag-based query for &lt;br&gt; some reason. You didn&#39;t use &#39;edit search&#39; on the query, did you? (bug &lt;br&gt; 533067) Even then it shouldn&#39;t have lost the query. &lt;br&gt; I don&#39;t suppose its possible to reproduce this on a new tag? I tried a &lt;br&gt; few times and couldn&#39;t get that error message to come up.

  What seemed awry was when I added the tag to #532831. The tag name &lt;br&gt; input area was blank. Usually, it has Ross-tracking, which is the only &lt;br&gt; tag I use. &lt;br&gt; In attempting to reconstruct the search, I successfully added tags to &lt;br&gt; about six bugs, 2-3 at a time. When I tried to add tags to three more &lt;br&gt; bugs, that is when I got the error message.

  What specifically was &#39;awry&#39; ? &lt;br&gt; I can get that error if I have a &#39;standard&#39; search and then try to add a &lt;br&gt; bug to that search using the tag UI. &lt;br&gt; However, it does appear to be possible to save over a tag query with the &lt;br&gt; standard search UI. Does &#39;ross-tracking&#39; still show up as a tag? &lt;br&gt; Had you added a tag since the Bugzilla update? (mid-November) Your best

  Yes, I see it in my saved searches. The problem is that I don&#39;t want to &lt;br&gt; delete it. &lt;br&gt; Apparently, it was deleted. I had just submitted a new bug report &lt;br&gt; (#532831) and tagged it for Ross-tracking. Something seemed awry at &lt;br&gt; that point, so I ran the Ross-tracking search. Apparently, it was &lt;br&gt; deleted because only that one bug appeared.
