_Options_
* delete it
* turn it into a portal of "how to contribute to support" links for each
product, like <http://www.mozilla.org/support/>
* create general suggestions on how to contribute to support for any
Mozilla product
* [your suggestion here]
_Factors_
* The page seems to be forgotten, and is not linked anywhere. (as far as
I can tell on MXR)
* The http://www.mozilla.org/contribute/ page has individual support
contributor links for Firefox and Thunderbird. It would be nice if other
projects had pages for how to contribute to support, but they don't, so
creating a separate portal seems like pointless.
* <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=601057> was supposed to
change that last link to <http://www.mozilla.org/support/>, but I guess
that change got reverted by accident.
I suggest removing it and redirecting that link to
https://support.mozilla.com/kb/superheroes-wanted
(Or we could just delete it if there's nothing linking there.)
At the bottom of that page we could add links to how to get involved
in supporting other projects when there are relevant pages to add.
Pages on www.mozilla.org are much harder to edit and keep current than
content on a wiki so I'd prefer to minimize the content on www.mozilla.org.

Feel free to reopen that bug and I can look at what happened.
David
It appears that the addition of a new Get Involved page nuked that
change back in March.
The change was originally made in r75094:
http://viewvc.svn.mozilla.org/vc?view=revision&revision=75094
But then r84871 moved Get Involved page to a different file:
http://viewvc.svn.mozilla.org/vc?view=revision&revision=84871
My guess it got nuked at that point because it was created on staging
with an obsolete version of the original Get Involved page. (Which
would make it a fallout from the way our staging process works.)
I'd say file a new bug instead of reopening the old one, but make the
old one a dependency.
I tried to use webtrends to find out how much traffic support/other gets
from the contribute page (to know if the extra link is needed), but I
can't find that info.
The actual traffic to contribute/support in the past 91 days is in the
single digits (and those visit may be me).
Per Gordon's reply, I've filed
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=652009> to get the "other
Mozilla Projects" fixed. I'd fix it myself, but I ran into line break
issues last time I edited a page outside the support directory.
http://viewvc.svn.mozilla.org/vc?revision=78736&view=revision
Our staging setup is not ideal...
If you notice any other content changes that were lost in this
process, please also files bugs for that.
David
You could look at the referrer information for the page and see where
the traffic is coming from. There is a Referrer by Page report in the
custom engagement section on the mozilla.org profile.

Yeah, it probably isn't getting much traffic.
David
Oops. I was looking at Webtrends insight, not Webtrends Ondemend.
I had a look at the data, and support/other didn't seem to be getting
any traffic from the contribute page, so I filed
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=654909> to remove
<http://www.mozilla.org/contribute/support/>.
