Just to let you know, my request for public archives of this list at
gmane was approved yesterday. You can see posts since then, at e.g.

This is an alternative to web interface at google groups.

We don't provide our own web-accessible archive of the newsgroups. And
more mirrors are good, no?

In any case, when I made the request we were having trouble getting the
google groups mirror set up, and were looking for more responsive
alternatives. :)

Yes, there's no really good web app for newsgroups yet. Maybe some time
someone will write one. ;-)
