Hi,

If BrowserID is the protocol, wouldn't it make sense to put it as its
own separate page, so that people will learn to thrown around the
correct terminology and use "BrowserID" in reference to say encouraging
other sites to implement the protocol? I am just concerned that having
BrowserID redirect to Persona might cause people to conflate the two and
make people think it depends on the centralized servers of Mozilla, so
they may be less appreciative of how decentralized it can be (of course,
referring to Persona from the proposed BrowserID page would be good too).

Thanks!
Brett

Hi Brett,

Which MDN pages are you talking about?

Thanks,

He's referring to the top-level MDN pages
BrowserID<https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/BrowserID>and
Persona <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Persona>. Currently, the
former redirects to the latter.
