I thought I'd post a quick heads-up about some search engine optimization
(SEO) work in progress on devmo. Mozilla is funding some contract work to
have some of our documentation revised to improve SEO, especially in our
JavaScript documentation.

For the next little bit, you'll see a number of changes happening to that
content, which may have no semantic meaning (that is, it may not affect
meaning or accuracy) but will improve search results. Some of the changes
may look odd, since they often involve adding extra words where you might
not normally put them (like repeatedly using the phrase "JavaScript array"
where the fact that it's in the JS reference makes this obvious), but if it
improves search results on Google and the like, it's well worth it!

This also includes adding words to page titles.

Hopefully the end result will be that our documentation becomes more
discoverable!

I wants to call this to folks' attention specifically because some of these
changes admittedly look like things I would in the past have reverted.
Indeed, I almost reverted the first one I saw, before I realized it was e
SEO team in action. :)

In some cases, I feel like these changes can be made at the mindtouch level, rather than manually augmenting page titles.

https://developer.mozilla.org/en/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/Array/splice

I would expect "splice" "javascript" and "array" to be in the <title> and the page wouldn't need to be Moved for that. I imagine you prefer that setup as well?
