Hi all,

I love MDN, I've made some contributions on the wiki and I keep trying to
contribute to it every time I see some mistake or when I found something I
can improve on an article and I want to participate more actively with you
helping with articles or with the site development as well.

I'm web developer. I've some xp on PHP and HTML5 (this is my mozillians
profile https://mozillians.org/en-US/u/tehsis/)

I know you do some meetngs on IRC but due to time issues I wasn't able to
join them so far. So I wonder how can I start to contribute with you (I
mean, besides editing the wiki :))

Thank you for all the magic!

Hi Pablo!

Thanks for introducing yourself, and for contributing to MDN.

Right now, we have a big focus on documenting device APIs (which are
also known within Mozilla as "Web APIs", but we're trying to stamp out
that term on MDN because it's not descriptive). These are APIs that give
access to device hardware, and are used by in Firefox OS.

Here is a page for tracking progress on documenting these APIs:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/WebAPI/Doc_status

As you probably know, Firefox OS will be released in some Latin American
countries later this year, so we also need help with localizing docs
into Spanish to help developers in those countries who speak no or
little English. The focus for localization is on Apps, device APIs, and
the Web stack (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). We're working on improving the
tools for translators on MDN: a localization dashboard should be coming
in a few months. Meanwhile, you can subscribe to get email notifications
about particular pages, so you can know when there are changes on pages
you care about.

Regarding development of the MDN site: the code is on github:
https://github.com/mozilla/kuma
Here is a list of bugs that you could help with:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Project:MDN/Kuma/Contributing/Help_wanted

The MDN site developers hang out in #mdndev on irc.mozilla.org, and are
very friendly to volunteer contributors.

I hope that is enough suggestions of ways to contribute :-)

Great! thanks Janet.

I could help on translating docs since that seems to be the priority right
now (most of the docs on that list are in needing of reviews) Do we have a
special list or page for tracking that?

Thanks again
