Hey everyone,

I'm the MDN engineering team manager. We've started a new
'mdn-drivers'[1] mailing list to help prioritize MDN development so we
can make MDN useful to developers and teams all across Mozilla. Here's
how it works ...

I'll send email reminders to the list before the MDN engineering team
pulls new work from our MDN backlog [2] into our Kanban board [3]. When
a slot opens up in our board, Ali, I, or an MDN dev will pull a bug from
the backlog - primarily based on votes, duplicate counts, and product
priority - into the board's "Selected" column.

So, the best way to influence MDN product development is to vote on bugs
in the MDN backlog.

In addition, our Kanban board reports an average "Lead Time" [4] - i.e.,
how long it takes for a card to move from "Selected" to "Released". So
we can also prioritize bugs anticipating their delivery dates.

We're experimenting with all this so things are going to change as we
go. Please use this thread and this list for feedback.
