Is this right place for marketplace question? if not please guide me to the
right id.

My app is still in Pending status and its not listed while search or by
category sort.

As far as I know, it is not. I'm cc'ing the marketplace mailing list as

What is your app about? Do you have a description, a name, a link or
something that could help identifying which app exactly you're talking
about?

I haven't taken a minute to study how the market place work and I didn't
expect to see an approval process. So it raises some questions (more for
the marketplace folks)
How does it work?
How to get approval? what are the criteria?
How much time does it take? Usually? ideally?
