Just a casual observation....but how come I get a whole bunch of other
languages returned in a search result?
I have my language set to "en" (en:gb to be exact), but no matter the
settings I will get search results returning items from a variety of
languages.

How best to setup filtering of MDC searches to exclude pages written in
languages I cannot read?

This is an extremely annoying known bug. I'm working on getting that
fixed.
