MDN locked for a while

We have discovered that some pages have inexplicably gone missing. It started with one or two yesterday, but several more vanished overnight. They weren't deleted; they just went away.
Until the dev team can figure out what's wrong, we've locked MDN to prevent editing. Since there's a strong possibility we will have to revert to a backup, I'd hate to have people making changes in the interim that will be lost.
I'll post again when we know more.

OK, so here's an update:

Editing has been re-enabled, and most (if not all) of the lost pages
have been restored.
The team doesn't know what happened yet. However, they've found the one
place in their code (literally) that removes a page from the database
and put an exception on it so that if it happens again they should get
email with all kinds of information that should help nail down the
problem.
So feel free to work again, and if/when it happens again we'll know!
