We had a large number of spam pages created this afternoon. I tried to
use the new batch spam cleanup/spammer banning tool we installed last
week, and it appears we suffered some form of database corruption. I
assume there's a correlation, but I don't know for certain.

At any rate, IT had to restore MDC from backups as a result. The site
has reverted to the backup from 7 AM today (Sunday, September 20). I
apologize for the inconvenience.
