Hi,
I love this idea and it sounds good in theory but I wonder how you expect
to keep such a board up to date?
It will require to manage people in order to have frech information (do not
expect volunteers to report all their activities as if their were pay
staff... only highly motivated ones could accept to do it on a regular
basis ;)
It would be possible to have such a board based on the wiki changes
timeline (it will give a who's active on what) but it will require to have
someone performing close community management. Does Mozilla have ressources
for that?
I think the best approche here would have some kind of a dash board for
each MDN contributor in order to make them easy to declare what their are
doing (the best would be to have a system that allow us to make such a
declaration each time we contribute... maybe at least a reminder on each
edit page), coupling with some datamining on the wiki activity to know what
are the most active part of the documentation (crossed with contributors
activity). This will require some (heavy?) development on the new
kuma platform to achieve this ;)
my 2ct,
Jérémie
