Making development plans more clear

Just wanted to send a quick note about a development process change that writers might appreciate.

Starting today, the development team will be improving the way it communicates plans. We have decided to organize our work into two categories: the user-facing features that are being completed, and the underlying tasks that are needed to make them happen. Previously, we only communicated the latter, making it difficult for some users to understand what was really happening. It was also difficult for some users to really understand our progress towards completing those features, as the tasks we did use were not very granular.

You can read the full explanation below, but the important point to keep in mind this: If at any point you want to know what features we are working on, or how close they are to being finished, just take a look at the "Plans" page of our wiki.
