Sheppy のブログにも出てましたが、MDN 次期バージョンのコードネームは Kuma だそうです。

SUMO の新しいバックエンドである Kitsune を利用しつつ、Deki wiki をリプレースするのを目的としているようです。

編集環境に関しては、Sheppy の意向もあるのだと思いますが、WYSIWYG Editor を継続の意向、
wikitext から HTML にコンバートする手段を用意しようというバグが立っています。
