I'm slightly confused - normally the reports are sent out about 2 days
past the last covered by the report. I had one up to 28 April delivered
by 30 April at the latest, so the next one I was expecting roundabout
now for 28 April - 5 May but what I got yesterday was what looks
suspiciously like the previous report again (see below). Has the
reporting mechanism gotten itself into a loop, possibly?

Cheers

A similar thing happened to me yesterday:
- I received three report emails
- The first one was a report from two weeks ago
- The other two were the usual reports, but came duplicated

I finally got through to the metrics team yesterday, after having
received the same report 3 times in a row and apparently there was a bug
somewhere, they fixed it and sent out the reports again for the
timeframe that people might have gotten the wrong ones in - at least
that's what they did for our locale.

I'll email you one of mine. What's so useful for us is that because
Firefox communicates with the server to get blacklist updates, Mozilla
can tell how many localized versions are in use. In our case that tells
us that we're managing to grow very slowly - but at least grow. Without
that, we'd be guessing how many people we're reacing.

What we have also discovered this way, comparing the data with the
update of the spellchecker for Fx/Tb and Adaptxt (an app for Android
that does predictive texting and welcomes languages like Gaelic) that
uptake of *tools* is about 4 times as high as uptake of localized
software, so we know we have a lot of promoting to do.

Thanks Michael
Interesting indeed. How do we get the reporst? I remember discussing this
with SUMO contributers but that was just before Firefox in FUlah was
released.
Cheers

I believe Axel set it up for me. Dunno if that's the standard way or if
one should really file a bug for the metrics team?

Emailing l10n-drivers makes one of us email metrics.

We'll need name, e-mail, locale, and region.
