Hi,

The SeaMonkey projet is planning a security release of the stable 1.0
series as well as a beta for the 1.1 version, all possibly in the next
days or week.

As before, all language packs for 1.0.x versions should work flawlessly
with the 1.0.6 security release, but binaries need to be recreated.

Our candidate builds for this release are in
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/nightly/candidates-1.0.6/
and those should be released completely unchanged as long as QA doesn't
find any last-minute problems with them.

As always, please test the builds and feel free to already prepare
updated binaries and langpacks (if needed) but don't publicly release
them before our official release is out.

As told in a previous message, 1.1 Beta also marks the L10n freeze fpr
the SeaMonkey 1.1 series, so it might be a good idea to start your work
for those based on the upcoming Beta.

Our current candidate builds for SeaMonkey 1.1 Beta are available in
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/nightly/candidates-1.1b/
and those should already have the final set of locale strings, but the
binaries may still see some small changes due to us looking at one or
two regressions we may want to have fixed already for the beta.

You can start your work on language packs already from those versions,
please wait with preparing binaries though until I tell you it's safe to do.

I'll reply in this thread about when we plan to actually do the public
releases of both versions as well as when we really have released them.

Thanks for you work,

Robert Kaiser

FYI, the builds in both of those folders are identical to what will be
released, and we're currently targetting Wednesday, Nov 8th, as release
date for both versions.
