Hi localizers,

I just want to inform you that we want to do a feature and L10n freeze
on SeaMonkey 1.1 code in the next days, and release a Beta based on
that. Currently, there are no open blockers, so we don't expect any
major things to still land.
We may want to still land some help improvements, but we're trying to
get those in before freezing as well so that we can hopefully freeze
everything, including help, at once.

To get testing early, and to give you a good base for starting L10n
work, we've done a first round of candidate builds for this 1.1 Beta
release, available from
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/nightly/candidates-1.1b/

Please test them intensely and report any unexpected problems in bugzilla.

As I said, you can also use those to start your L10n work for 1.1 Beta
and final, you can expect changes, if any, to be small, we currently
only know some help changes that should still go in.

I'll notify you again here in this thread when we expect the candidates
to be final, and when the L10n freeze really takes effect.

The only two changes we expect after the freeze are:
1) change relnotes URL to 1.1 final
2) change localeVersion from "1.8.1rc" to "1.8.1"
