I'd like to emphasize a bit on the progress on Firefox 3.1 from today's meeting.
The biggest take away would be that there may well be just one beta.
The string freeze for that beta is going to be Thursday/Friday 25th/26th, that is, two weeks from now.
We had a bunch of changes come in in the last week, so the max of missing strings is now at 76.
What we'd love you to do right now is to start poking your localizations on hg ASAP. We need to figure out if you're running on technical road blocks well before the beta, so now is the time to make sure you're set up.
If you run into problems, please ask for help in this group, on #l10n or on #hg.
I'd love to call for some volunteers to mentor other localizers, too. So if you're feeling comfortable with hg and have some cycles, please follow up on this thread and offer your help?
