as most of you have seen, we have 4 help bugs for Firefox 2 open.
The one that is tricky is
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=341899, documenting the
prefwindow reorg. Jeff and Sheppy are working hard to get that bug
closed, hopefully landing a version that is content-ready today-PDT.
Jeff, Sheppy, we're not really clear who of the two actually owns this
right now, could the one of you landing the content please follow up on
this post to signal the definite 'go'? Please give details on where to
find those files, i.e., if they landed on the trunk or the branch, which
revisions are good for which files.
That content will be good for localization, that is, it will be final up
to wording thingies and language style, things that don't matter for
your translation anyway.
The other three help bugs on that list are non-fatal, or don't require
that they have actually landed in en-US. You can even take those if they
don't make the cut in en-US ;-).
The deadline for l10n has been postponed to enable you to catch up on
this, to
Monday, September 18th, 9am PDT.
That's the "preed is in the office and kicks of the final respin" date.
Anything that wants to land later needs to be severe enough to require a
respin of the release, i.e., an RC2.
Mic is working through the search-etc buglist tonight, I'll take a pass
tomorrow.
I hope that works out for you all.

So, before this date, there is no need to file a bug with a patch to
check-in changes. Right?
Michele
Right, unless you want to change search or rss reader stuff, of course.
I don't expect to see new request to come in there, though.
Axel
I didn't have mconnor on CC of my initial post, thus I'm stepping up
here and follow up with the landing announcement that I promised.
Help l10n has a GO!.
Thanks for your patience, I do hope we got to a that sucks equally bad
for all.
