Hi,

our hg server gets an update today, starting 9am.

You may not be able to push, and I'll stop the bots on the dashboard.

Which is a great occasion to invite you to update your hg installations
as well. Modern versions are rumored to be noticeably faster.

Morning,
I suppose the following is related, right?

pulling from http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-aurora/
searching for changes
adding changesets
transaction abort!
rollback completed
abort: 00changelog.i@d7edd256258f: unknown parent!

pulling from http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-beta/
searching for changes
adding changesets
transaction abort!
rollback completed
abort: 00changelog.i@a7beadd61664: unknown parent!

pulling from http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/
searching for changes
adding changesets
transaction abort!
rollback completed
abort: 00changelog.i@4795500b7c1d: unknown parent!

pulling from http://hg.mozilla.org/comm-central/
searching for changes
adding changesets
transaction abort!
rollback completed
abort: 00changelog.i@7c894b95efe4: unknown parent!

pulling from http://hg.mozilla.org/venkman/
searching for changes
adding changesets
transaction abort!
rollback completed
abort: 00changelog.i@148fe7bca62e: unknown parent!

Is that something that should be fixed server-side (cause hg clone
doesn't work either), or does it mean I have to install a newer version
of hg (mine is 2.0.1)?

I could reproduce that for a minute on comm-central, and then went in to
file a blocker bug. Then I tried hg pull -uv on comm-central, and now it
works. I blame the cache or something.

We're still blocked by, yikes, the weave-l10n repos not being linked up
right, so the dashboard is still off.

Indeed, comm-central now works for me too. But mozilla-central does not.

If it's cache, then maybe it can all be cleaned up at once on the server?

Caches have been cleaned, if you're still seeing issues please file a
bug in product: mozilla.org, component: Server Operations.

Same problem for comm-aurora:

$ hg pull
pulling from http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-aurora
searching for changes
all local heads known remotely
adding changesets
transaction abort!
rollback completed
abort: 00changelog.i@c27a041a2ce4: unknown parent!

I filed https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=718186 to track this.

If you can reproduce this, please follow up in the bug with the output of

hg pull -v

if there's anything additional to report.

The bots are back to life, and caught up with the backlog.

Life's back to normal, the pull troubles withstanding.

Hi Axel,

I've pushed to aurora, but I can't see the changesets and the builds in the
dashboard:

There's an issue with the hg repos right now that's perhaps unrelated.
varnish cache pretty surely,
