Long ago we used to have big flat files for documentation that rarely
got localized and were even more rarely updated since we had no way to
alert localizers that they changed.
Last week Greg migrated these strings into our .po files so they will be
tracked like all the other strings on the site. With this change, I
think AMO is 100% .po files now - a long journey from tons of pages and
even localized images(!).
This is great progress, but it also means there are a lot of new strings
in the .po files this week. We're not under any pressure to get these
pages out since the old ones are still on the site - I'm currently
aiming to push these on June 16th to give you time to localize but let
me know if that will be a problem.
If anyone finds spelling or grammar mistakes let the list know and I'll
fix them up. That also means you should commit and update your files
often to avoid conflicts.
Thanks for your help and let me know if there are questions.

it looks like all integrated strings are completely empty; I would have
preferred it if they had been copy-pasted from the old files and marked
fuzzy. It would have saved me a ton of work...
Not sure whether June 16th is feasible. A few hundred strings requires a
bit of time when doing this in spare time.

The plan is to push these next Thursday (so we can hit the end of the
quarter). Hopefully the extra couple weeks helped.
Thanks,
