to Mozilla projects web content localization, Chris Hofmann
(I was going to send this to the "world ready" mailing list, but I'm not
sure whether that list is still useful)

Keep in touch/Keep it moving/Keep it going
I could be wrong on this, but localizers will have to struggle to find
something that makes sense in this page in their own language (I am...),
I thought we agreed on avoiding this kind of structures long time ago.

Anyway, my main concern about all this is timing: bug 760456 popped up
on Friday late afternoon (together with bug 760511), just four days
before the release. Since we are on a clear and tight release schedule,
can someone explain to me why we always end up having these contents so
late in the cycle? Why is this not subject to clear deadlines like every
other part of the product?

Hi Francesco,

I agree, for French I only kept the ideas behind (communication,
mobility, interaction), I didn't try to reproduce the repetition of word
in English 'Keep on', I think it is fine to just keep the idea which is
what matters.

I know this is late, I am sorry for that. The decision to display a
whatsnew page for this release was probably taken late, the content was
created and written late, we built the page late and we sent it late to
you. On the plus side, we kept that a very short translation. Doing the
French version of the page only took me like 15mn. For locales that
don't have translated the strings in time, the previous fallback page
with the neutral content we had for Firefox before we removed the
whatsnew page from the upgrade process will be used, so nobody will get
a message in English.

I know, that's what I did more or less. The point is that we discussed
about making Mozilla's communication less English-centric, and this is a
step backward in my opinion.

IMO, it's good that the communication in English is English-centric. :)
All that matters is that we are free to center around our own languages,
when localizing.
