Localisation in Zimbabwean Ndebele

[Vuyisile Ndlovu]

Good Day All.

I'm Vuyisile, a Rep from Zimbabwe. I'm thinking of starting the above named localisation effort for thhe Firefox browser. I've set up my environment according to the wiki and a fellow contributor that i'm working with has done the same.

I'd like to know where to go from here.

I'm glad to hear you're interested in l10n! Have you selected the tool
that you'd like to use to perform the localization? If not, that would
be the next step. The list of available tools and workflow options can

we're going to go with the option that most people seem to be using: narro.
Here are our details

Usernames:

1) terrameijar
2) aurorabelle

Language: Ndebele (Zimbabwe)

Hi again.

I've registered the above usernames and when i log in i get the following error:

"The language is not active. Please ask the administrator to activate or check your URL if this is not the language you wanted."

How can this be fixed?

We need a new locale (Ndebele-ZW) to be created so we may start l10ning. :)
Please help.

Unfortunately Narro is not in active development, I suggest you to look at Pootle (http://pootle.locamotion.org/) platform instead. Many of the Bantu languages are being actively translated on Pootle server.

Hi Vuyisile,

We have setup a new locale on Pootle. Register and give me your
username. It would be good to start working on user1 folder.
