Telugu language pack installation does not complete

Telugu language pack installation does not finish (URLs below) on my
firefox
2.0 system. It hangs after checking compatibility. I am able to
install romanain language pack from firefox add-ons website properly.
Even if I build en-X-dude locally, I face the same problem.

I checked on windows and found it to be working fine. I traced the
problem to the older version of firefox 2.0rc3.
I downloaded 2.0.0.11 on linux and language pack installation is
fine.
